~ Pasor Bert Eickhoff ~

Pastor Bert H. Eickhoff was born on July 20. 1960, in Artesia, New Mexico. He attended the Artesia Public Schools until his Senior year of High School when he attended St. Paul's College High, Concordia, Missouri, graduating in 1978. He attended St. Paul's Jr. College in Concordia, MO, and then transferred to Concordia, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, graduating in 1981. He attended Concordia Seminary, St. Louis, graduating in 1988.

Pastor Eickhoff has served as an under-shepherd of our Good Shepherd Jesus Christ in Zion and Trinity Lutheran, Harbine and Janssen, Nebraska; St. Paul's Lutheran, Sedalia, Missouri; and at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nokomis, Illinois, since November 1998.

Pastor Eickhoff is blessed with his wife of 28 years, Carol, and four children: Jessica, Sarah, Joseph, and Joshua.

History of Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church 1893 - present

In thankful memory of the present generation of Lutheran Christians of Trinity Luther Church of Nokomis, Illinois, we pause to celebrate over 100 years of God's grace and mercy. Whatever is glorious in this history, whatever success has been achieved by individual pastors, members, or congregation, we attribute to the unmerited mercy and blessing of God. With the inscription above the chancel in our church, we say "Glory to God in the Highest". Whatever is inglorious in our history, whatever mistakes were made on the part of pastors or people, we take to the mercy-seat of God and pray: "Heavenly Father, forgive us for Jesus sake.
